This is the original store where Alfred Peet started Peet's Coffee. Known for artisan-roasted coffee and being vegan friendly, Peets offers strong drip coffees, some specialty drinks, and gourmet teas. They carry almond, soymilk, and coconut whipped cream as dairy substitutes. There are usually 3-4 different vegan cookies and 1-2 vegan scones to choose from. Don't miss the commemorative plaque, photos and antique roaster on display in the back room.
