This fast food place has been serving Falafel since 1966. The falafel is always fresh and perfectly cooked. It is served in a pita topped with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, tahini and hot sauce. They have vegan sides like a fava bean dip called "foul" (pronounced fool), falafel salad, hummus, tabbouleh, and baba ghannouj. Note: The baklava contains honey. It's all outside seating, so in busier times you might have to sit with people you don't know. They do have heat lamps for colder weather and there is a clever mural depicting San Jose/Silicon Valley/Bay Area culture. Expect a long line during peak lunch hours. Parking is tricky.
